Our Goal
At the Alpine Motel we have two goals for our winter seasons. One has always been the same and that is what our reputation is built around. That would be "to provide you with the amenities you need in a CLEAN environment in order to enjoy your stay in Cooke City". The other goal is new. It is to offer you a service which has not been seen here in recent years:
Coaches For Hire
We have two heated over-the-snow vehicles ready for hire. Services available to guests of the Alpine Motel
- Thinking of visiting Cooke City in the winter? Are you coming to Lamar Valley to view Wildlife? We are providing half day tours taking you into the mountains surrounding Cooke City. We ride on groomed county roads and see things that are closed to wheeled vehicles for a good portion of the year. - These tours have been very popular among wilderness photographers and people just looking for a break from the standard wildlife watching.
- Would you like to visit Cooke City from the East but don't have a way to travel the 15 miles of groomed trail on Hwy 212? We provide shuttles from Pilot Creek parking lot for our guests.
- Skiers/Boarders have utilized our services as well. We provide drop-offs in locations where you can navigate your way back into town. For guiding services and backcountry knowledge check out Beartooth Powder Guides.
- We can also assist with snowshoe and snowmobile rentals as well.
